Sichuan Neo-Green Pharmaceutical Technology Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Neo-GPT) is devoted to the R&D, production and marketing of TCM formula granules and is one of only six TCM formula granule manufacturers approved by the China Food and Drug Administration and the sole company in western China. Our main focuses include herbal GAP planting, decoction piece GMP production and formula granule GMP production. Our focuses also lie in the R&D, production and servicing of smart TCM pharmacies. NGP is one of a few pharmaceutical enterprises with vertical integration in the field of TCM formula granules in China.
As an enterprise with substantial advantages, a uniqueness and promising potential, NGP’s predecessor Green Pharmaceuticals was honored in 2000 by 8 national ministries and commissions. It was allowed to be a part of the first batch of National Leading Enterprises in Agricultural Industrialization and has received this annual title a number of times due to its important role in agriculture industrialization.
NGP, because of its bevy of remarkable industrial advantages, encouraging future in the market and strong competitive position, initiated research into quality standards for TCM formula granules in 2002 and was able to refine its decoction pieces in one of the national Torch Program projects. That same year, NGP was approved by the National Food and Drug Administration to demonstrate TCM formula granule manufacturing which, thrust the company into the spotlight as a paradigm for other enterprises to strive for.
On behalf of its strong R&D teams, technological innovations and persistent R&D, NGP was honored in 2011 as a High-Tech Enterprise and Technical Research Center for TCM Formula Granules by the Science & Technology Department of Sichuan Province, marking NGP’s contribution to TCM industrialization.
