In 2005, the automatic TCM formula granule dispensing machine passed the technical appraisal conducted together by Science & Technology Department of Sichuan Province, Sichuan Development and Reform Commission, Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Sichuan, Chengdu Municipal Development and Reform Commission. The Appraisal Committee evaluated as follows. NGP invested a great amount of money and manpower in the research and development of “automatic TCM formula granule dispensing system”. Through several years of efforts in overcoming technical difficulties, the 5th generation full-automatic dispensing system has been successfully developed. By August 2015, the independently developed automatic dispensing system has obtained 67 authorized valid patents including 27 patents for invention, 39 patents for utility models and 2 design patents. It shows obvious advantages in market and technology and has a wide application prospect.
